Mayor the Force be with us!

Posted on October 4, 2014 at 11:20 AM

Well, what a spectacular morning in the Stanford Warriors Dojo!

First up were our youngsters, who were grading for their red & green belts. They worked extremely hard and impressed not only the parents, but all the on-looking coaches and Sensei’s too. Again, they set the standard for all our other pee-wee’s who are coming through the ranks, and all thoroughly deserved their belts!

We were then joined by the Mayor of Thurrock, Councillor Steve Liddiard, who was treated to a display of top level Ju-Jitsu - from Belt work and Syllabus techniques, through to fantastic Weapons displays and precision Katas.

The quality of Ju-Jitsu on display was superb, and the conduct and attitude of all our students was exemplary!

I think we can safely say that he was blown away by what he saw, and went away more than impressed!

A BIG THANK YOU to all who came along and helped make today a memorable one!
